Pakua · Get the app

Kiswanglish on your home screen

Install it straight from your browser. There is no app store, nothing to download, and it works the same on a phone, a tablet and a computer.

Your browser handles this from its own menu — the steps for your device are below.

Android

Phones & tablets · Chrome

  1. Open the site in Chrome.
  2. Tap Install when the prompt appears at the bottom of the screen.
  3. If you missed it, tap the ⋮ menu and choose Install app or Add to Home screen.
  4. Confirm, and Kiswanglish installs to your app drawer.

What installing changes

Its own window

No address bar, no tabs. On a phone it runs full screen, which gives a story roughly two more lines of text.

On the home screen

One tap from where you already are, instead of a bookmark you forget you made.

Opens where you study

Launching goes straight to the course. Long-press the icon to jump to today's review.

Always current

It updates itself. There is nothing to reinstall and no version to fall behind on.

What it does not do yet

Lessons and audio still need a connection — nothing is stored on the device for offline study, so opening the app on a flight will not get you a reading. If you lose signal mid-session, answers you had already given are saved; the next one will not be. Offline lessons are worth building and are not built.
